When did it begin?  A thousand years ago?  Five thousand?  More?  We know for certain that families have loved and lived in a beautiful place called Calabritto, in the Province of Avellino, Campania, Italy for hundreds of years — and that their descendants (and current residents!) share a proud history and live all over the world.

Created by some of those descendants, this website is dedicated to sharing our Calabrittani heritage through stories, records, family trees and much more that has been passed down through countless generations.  We thank our friend Gerardo Castagno for the use of his poignant vintage photograph throughout this site, and we invite you to join this journey with us.
